Ferrari 812 Competizione – Nero Daytona – Atelier

The 812 Competizione is the enhanced and refined version of the 812 Superfast, already an extraordinarily fast and capable 800 hp two-seater super GT with a front-mounted V12. So, consider the 830 hp 812 Competizione as an 812 Superfaster. It follows in a sharp lineage of race-inspired, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive V12 Ferraris; the astonishing 599 GTO and the psychotic F12 TDF. Both demanded considerable courage to tame, and the latest evolution is no less intimidating.

Just look at it… it’s mean, angular, and menacing. A technical and visual street version of the XX programme. It looks like a modernized road-going version of the 599XX race car. And that’s because it might come very close indeed!

It uses the same 6.5L block from the 812 Superfast, but the internals have been refined and triple-distilled for even greater performance. The pistons have been redesigned, the titanium connecting rods are 40 percent lighter, while diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating surrounds the piston pins. There’s a rebalanced crankshaft (three percent lighter than before), new cylinder heads, F1-inspired camshaft technology, a completely redesigned intake system (both manifold and plenum), and intake ducts with variable geometry.

And then there’s the redline, elevated to a divine 9,500 rpm!!! It’s 38 kg lighter than the 812 Superfast, yet the 812 Competizione looks far more muscular! All in all, the 812 Competizione generates 30 percent more front-end downforce than the Superfast, and you can see how. There are vortex generators everywhere. Every single detail of the 812 Competizione exudes extreme downforce, perhaps most strikingly with the new carbon trunk lid without a rear window. Surprisingly, the rear-facing camera actually provides a better “rear-view experience” than a conventional mirror. But then again, why would you ever look back in the majestic 812 Competizione?

The Atelier example we offer is finished in the stunning 'Nero Daytona', complemented by an 'Oro' livery and dreamlines. The interior is refined in 'Nero' alcantara, elegantly accented with 'Grigio Chiaro' details.

It is fully loaded with exclusive options, including a passenger display, a JBL high-end audio system, a heat-insulating windscreen, front and rear parking cameras, Homelink, a lift system, adaptive headlights, carbon hubcaps, carbon racing seats, and much more!

To protect its rare paintwork, the front end has been treated with premium PPF (paint protection film). This ensures optimal protection against stone chips, weather influences, and etching from insects or bird droppings, keeping the paintwork in flawless condition.
