Just say the name: Renault Megane RS Trophy-R 275 PS, - already when you get to the RS you are aware that this is NOT a standard Renault that sticks to the local school - No, the only thing this Megane shares with its normal cousin is the name and partly the bodywork, because here RenaultSport has gone radical and really made a wolf in sheep's clothing.

The Trophy RS is No. 3 in the range of Renault's "Hot Hatch" Megane model - this is where the engineers have "free play" to do bad things to other fast hatchbacks, for example a model from Germany that shares a name with a sport that involves a small ball and a club, and you have to say that the French have really created something very special.

Not only that only 250 were produced, it also holds the record on the Nurburgring Nordschleife for front-wheel drive production cars with a time of 7 min and 54 sec. The fantastic time has been achieved by squeezing a 2.0 engine with 275 hp into the same engine compartment, where there is usually a 1.4 petrol or 1.5 diesel, at the same time it has been on a sharp diet, where, among other things, some of the noise reduction has been removed and the rear seats, inserted special Recaro front seats, as well as other parts in the undercarriage, so that the car has lost over 100 kg compared to its more normal siblings, which means that it sprints from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds.

Despite the hardcore construction, Renault has not skimped on the equipment, so you still have 2-zone air conditioning, cruise control, infotainment system with bluetooth and much more.

This is a car for connoisseurs and which will clearly become a sought-after and unique collector's item - both because of the mileage figure of 1370 km - and oh yes, maybe because this is number 250! out of the 250 produced!. The car has never been registered and is therefore brand new!
