The 992.2 Targa 4 GTS is the first Targa ever to feature a hybrid drivetrain. Porsche fitted a new 3.6 litre flat-six with an electric turbocharger that eliminates lag at low rpm, supplemented by an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed PDK. Combined output is 541 ps. All-wheel drive and rear-axle steering are standard.

Fun fact: the electric turbocharger eliminates turbo lag entirely. At any throttle position, at any engine speed, power is immediately available.

De 992.2 Targa 4 GTS is de eerste Targa ooit met een hybride aandrijflijn. Porsche monteerde een nieuwe 3,6 liter boxerzescilinder met een elektrische turbo die de vertraging bij lage toeren wegwerkt, aangevuld met een elektromotor geïntegreerd in de achttraps PDK. Gecombineerd levert dat 541 pk. Vierwielaandrijving en meestuurende achteras zitten er standaard op.

Leuk detail: de elektrische turbo elimineert het turbolagprobleem volledig. Bij elke stand van het gaspedaal, bij elk toerental, is het vermogen direct beschikbaar.

La 992.2 Targa 4 GTS est la première Targa à recevoir un groupe motopropulseur hybride. Porsche a monté un nouveau six cylindres à plat de 3,6 litres avec un turbocompresseur électrique qui supprime le temps de réponse à bas régime, complété par un moteur électrique intégré dans la PDK à huit rapports. La puissance combinée atteint 541 ps. La transmission intégrale et la direction des roues arrière sont de série.

Anecdote: le turbocompresseur électrique supprime entièrement le turbo lag. Quelle que soit la position de l'accélérateur ou le régime moteur, la puissance est disponible instantanément.
