Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition

In 2019, a limited edition of ten "Concorde" cars was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the supersonic Concorde aircraft of British Airways. Aston Martin's Q department modified the already excellent Aston Martin DBS Superleggera to absolute perfection. The registration number G-BSST is linked to the registration of the first Concorde aircraft. The silhouette of the aircraft is depicted on the carbon roof, the blue leather in the interior is identical to that of the Concorde, the upholstery elements and the small model of the aircraft on the fender grille are also special. The gearshift paddles under the steering wheel were made from material from engine turbine blades. Detailed down to the last detail!

The car we offer was made as one of ten and was purchased directly from the Aston Martin parent company in Bristol. It is professionally stored in the ENGINE collection and has only covered 33 km since production and has never been registered. The number of pieces, the reference to the milestone in aviation and all the details used on the car really give this vehicle a great deal of uniqueness.

The vehicle comes with all the accessories - luggage, leather jacket, 1:18 scale car model and protective tarpaulin.

Interesting fact
Part of the proceeds from the sale of each individual car was donated to the non-profit organization Air League Trust, which supports children's interest in aviation and provides them with assistance in studying related fields.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition

2019 entstand eine limitierte Auflage von zehn „Concorde“-Fahrzeugen zum 50. Jahrestag des Erstflugs der Überschallmaschine Concorde von British Airways. Die Qualitätsabteilung von Aston Martin modifizierte den bereits hervorragenden Aston Martin DBS Superleggera bis zur absoluten Perfektion. Das Kennzeichen G-BSST ist mit der Zulassung der ersten Concorde verknüpft. Die Silhouette des Flugzeugs ist auf dem Carbondach abgebildet, das blaue Leder im Innenraum ist identisch mit dem der Concorde, die Polsterelemente und das kleine Flugzeugmodell am Kühlergrill sind ebenfalls besonders. Die Schaltwippen unter dem Lenkrad wurden aus dem Material von Triebwerksturbinenschaufeln gefertigt. Detailliert bis ins kleinste Detail!

Das von uns angebotene Fahrzeug wurde als eines von zehn Exemplaren direkt von der Aston Martin-Muttergesellschaft in Bristol erworben. Es wird fachmännisch in der ENGINE-Sammlung aufbewahrt, hat seit der Produktion nur 33 km zurückgelegt und wurde nie zugelassen. Die Anzahl der Teile, der Bezug zum Meilenstein der Luftfahrt und die vielen Details verleihen diesem Fahrzeug seine Einzigartigkeit.

Das Fahrzeug wird mit sämtlichem Zubehör geliefert – Gepäck, Lederjacke, Automodell im Maßstab 1:18 und Schutzplane.

Wissenswertes: Ein Teil des Verkaufserlöses jedes einzelnen Autos wurde an die gemeinnützige Organisation Air League Trust gespendet, die das Interesse von Kindern an der Luftfahrt fördert und ihnen beim Studium verwandter Bereiche hilft.
