The 992.1 GT3 Touring is mechanically identical to the winged GT3. Same 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat-six, same 510 hp at 8,400 rpm, same double wishbone front suspension taken directly from the 911 RSR race car. The only difference is at the rear: no fixed wing, but an automatically deploying spoiler instead. This example has the six-speed manual gearbox and is finished in GT Silver Metallic. The car looks like a standard 911. What sits underneath it is not.

Fun fact: the 9,000 rpm redline is not marketing. The engine reaches peak power at 8,400 rpm. You have to mean it.

De 992.1 GT3 Touring is mechanisch identiek aan de GT3 met vaste vleugel. Dezelfde 4,0 liter atmosferische zescilinder, dezelfde 510 pk bij 8.400 toeren, dezelfde dubbele driehoeksophanging vooraan die Porsche rechtstreeks uit de 911 RSR racewagen overnam. Het enige verschil zit achteraan: geen vaste vleugel, maar een automatisch uitslaande spoiler. Dit exemplaar heeft de zestraps handbak en staat in GT Silver Metallic. De auto ziet eruit als een gewone 911. Wat er onder zit is dat niet.

Leuk detail: de 9.000 toeren roodlijn is niet marketingtaal. De motor bereikt zijn maximumvermogen pas bij 8.400 toeren. Je moet er echt doorheen willen rijden.

La 992.1 GT3 Touring est mécaniquement identique à la GT3 à aileron fixe. Même six cylindres à plat atmosphérique de 4,0 litres, même 510 ch à 8 400 tr/min, même suspension avant à double triangle reprise directement de la 911 RSR de course. La seule différence se trouve à l'arrière : pas d'aileron fixe, mais un becquet à déploiement automatique. Cet exemplaire est équipé de la boîte manuelle à six rapports et peint en GT Silver Metallic. La voiture ressemble à une 911 ordinaire. Ce qui se trouve dessous ne l'est pas.

Anecdote: la ligne rouge à 9 000 tr/min n'est pas du marketing. Le moteur atteint sa puissance maximale à 8 400 tr/min. Il faut vraiment le vouloir.
