Popis prodejce
Chassis #001: The first 600LT chassis produced and registered. RHD (as all McLaren's first chassis). The first prototypes were modified 570S chassis (codenamed MV602 and MV801).Provenance: Registered June 1, 2018, as a prototype codename "VP811" (the first chassis with a 600LT model code - SBM13"RA") by the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, 2 months prior to the official launch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Multiple pictures exist of the car in its camouflage wrap prior to the launch date. The first 600LT customer cars were delivered in Dec 2018. This car played a key role in the 600LT's development, specifically "road validation" and the calibration of the chassis, brakes, and steering for road use. McLaren subsequently built VP815 (used in extreme heat/cold testing) and FEU820 as part of the 600LT development program. For pre-production, PP850 for official videos, photos, and the Goodwood press launch, followed by PP867 which was a press car.
Exclusivity: Only ~750 600LT Coupés were produced globally (exclusively 2019 model year). For comparison, ~1,300 Ferrari F40s and Porsche Carrera GTs were manufactured.
Performance & Driving Experience: 600+hp, dry weight of 1,247 kg (100 kg lighter than the 570S), carbon fiber chassis, unique top-exit exhaust system with visible blue flames in the rearview mirror and an unbelievable soundtrack. Forged aluminum suspension (shared with 720S/765LT) with traditional dampers and anti-roll bars for unmatched driving feel, feedback and reliability. Having driven the absolute best from Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, BMW, AMG, and McLaren, it is clear to me that this car is something truly special and unique to drive. Nothing else comes close to the steering feel, the brake pedal response, or the feedback from the stiff and lightweight carbon chassis.
Awards & Acclaim from Leading Motoring Journalists:
EVO: Best Supercar & Car of the Year 2018
Autocar: Best Driver’s Car 2019
MotorTrend: All Stars Winner 2019
TopGear (Chris Harris): "Best road McLaren they've made" (ranking it above the Senna, 675LT, 720S, etc.). Chris Harris also chose the 600LT over the Ferrari 488 Pista in a head-to-head test.
Rory Reid: "The best supercar I've driven is the 600LT" (stated even after driving the 765LT for the first time).
In 2018 the Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS, GT2 RS, and the 488 Pista were released and the 600LT beat all of them in the aforementioned tests.
Specification:
Color: Chicane Grey Effect (exclusive to 600LT/765LT), which was the launch color for the 600LT. A unique grey Elite paint with McLaren Orange metallic flakes underneath that pop in direct sunlight.
Equipment: Carbon Fibre Exterior Upgrades 1, 2 & 3 + all MSO exposed carbon options (front bumper, front fenders with louvres, roof, A & C pillars, door inserts, side mirrors, rear bumper and diffuser, rear wing, engine cover, plenum cover). Super-Lightweight Carbon Fibre Racing Seats ("Senna") with "Chassis #001" embroidered on the headrests, Carbon Fibre Interior Upgrade, Track Telemetry (cameras and app), B&W 1300w audio system, soft-close doors.
With all the carbon fiber packages and MSO options, ~50% of the car's exterior is exposed carbon fiber with a herringbone weave running directly down the center of the car from the front splitter and bumper, over the roof and engine cover, to the rear bumper and diffuser. No other car under €1 Million has more exposed carbon.
Condition:
McLaren R&D drove the car for approximately 23,000 km as part of the development and quality testing phase from May/June 2018 until the end of 2019. I have driven the car roughly 13,000 km over the past 5 years and am the only private owner. Paint Protection Film applied to the front, sides, and exposed areas. The protective film is even left intact on the infotainment screen. Serviced at authorized McLaren dealership, always driven with driving gloves to protect the Alcantara wheel.
Mid 2020 (at ~23.000km) the car was updated to production spec and restored to new cosmetic and mechanical condition at the factory. This included replacing wear items including full suspension, bushes, brakes, much of the interior, pumps, glas etc. Full documentation is included with the car signed by the MTC engineer. The car has been driven aprox 13.000km since the factory restoration and is in a factory fresh condition inside and out.
Collector's Value: Chassis #1 with official provenance from the car's R&D development. A McLaren top-tier "track" model produced in limited numbers – this is a guaranteed future classic and a true collector's item. The 600LT will likely follow a similar value trajectory as the 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia, or 458 Speciale over the coming years. The increasingly strict environmental regulations and electrification / heavier weight for new cars will accelerate this appreciation and highlight just how unique this car really is. It is highly unlikely that a lighter, more raw car will ever be built in this class again.
