Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Aston Martin und dem italienischen Designstudio Zagato zählt zu den außergewöhnlichsten in der Automobilwelt. The collaboration between Aston Martin and the Italian design house Zagato is one of the most special in the automotive world. It began in 1960 with the legendary DB4 GT Zagato, a car that is considered today one of the most iconic and valuable Aston Martins ever. Since then, both houses have joined forces only sporadically, each time resulting in exclusive models that immediately became collector's items.

In 2016, Aston Martin and Zagato decided to collaborate again, this time based on the Vanquish S. This resulted in an exclusive family of four variants: the Coupé, the Volante, the Speedster, and the Shooting Brake. Each model was built in extremely limited numbers, with only 99 Shooting Brakes rolling off the production line worldwide.
