Morgan Aero 8 Series 5 Roadster, 2016

A rare and distinctive V8-powered roadster that blends a tradition of hand-built British craftsmanship with a lightweight aluminum chassis and striking, eye-catching bodywork. Only around 160 examples of the Aero 8 Series 5 were produced between 2016 and 2018, making each one a true rarity.

Beneath the hand-formed aluminum bodywork lies a naturally aspirated V8 engine that drives the rear wheels via a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The Series 5 also introduced an evolved suspension setup—featuring anti-roll bars, outboard wishbones, and coilover units—delivering a combination of the lightweight, direct feel for which Morgan is renowned and a noticeably more refined driving character. The folding fabric roof stows away beneath the rear deck, giving the car a clean, open profile whenever the mood for open-top driving strikes.
The exterior is finished in Sport Black and sits on 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in Satin Gold; these frame red brake calipers and are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The "Performance Pack 1" specification also includes a sports exhaust system with side exits and AP Racing brakes.

The interior is trimmed in black leather with contrasting white piping and diamond-quilted inserts on the seats and door panels. Details such as xenon headlights, an aluminum gear knob and handbrake lever, electric windows, and an analog clock complete the cabin's authentic British feel. The car is left-hand drive, manufactured to EU specifications, and comes with a Certificate of Conformity (COC). Included with the vehicle are the owner's manuals, service book, an information folder about the model, four extra keys for the various locks, and two remote controls for the central locking system.
