Popis prodejce

At the beginning of the 20th century, the motor industry looked very different. We were just in the starting blocks to get the world car-borne and that was also what most in the industry were focusing on. Cars for the masses. But this is also where one of the motor industry's perhaps most important brands got its start. 1919 is the year when W.O Bentley takes the step into the motor industry with his new company that bears his name. Even though cars take a while to be produced, they are received and praised for their engineering and quickly become success stories in racing. Everything from hill-climbs to Le Mans will be more or less dominated in the coming years by the brand that seems to succeed in something very difficult. Namely, combining motorsport with luxury. Today, 106 years later, things are very different but it doesn't take much to see that Bentley's DNA lives on in the cars.

In the late 90s, however, there is a headwind in Crewe, England. Bentley has long been in the shadow of its sibling company with a model program that is dated and declining sales. But in 1998, the Volkswagen Group comes into the picture and immediately begins to develop a new model program to breathe life into the company and in 2003 the world met the new Continental GT for the first time. The model was a success from day one and in the first year alone the brand's sales increased sevenfold. It was clear that this would become a historically important car for the brand.

In step with the success, new iterations and variations of the car came and in 2018 the third generation of the success story Continental GT was presented. Still with the same magical 6 liter W12 that here distributes its 635hp to all four wheels. And it is also here that the Continental GT shows its great breadth and clear ties to its history. Enormous strained performance combined with ultimate luxury.

This example was sold new in Monaco and came to Sweden in 2022 and has now covered just 5,1310 km. The exterior is sober and elegant as it should be on a Bentley. The metallic white exterior meets elegant black 22" rims with brushed aluminum sections. It is a stripped-down and elegant exterior adorned with aluminum details. The front is dominated by a large grille flanked on each side by headlights that are a work of art in themselves. The interior is divided into navy blue and white leather and permeated with aluminum details. Over the doors and dashboard, dark wood and piano black finish decor is soldered, which is brought together by an aluminum strip. All material choices and surfaces are undoubtedly of the motor industry's absolute highest standard and culminate in a whole that is world-class. It is a whole that brings more than just a little respect when you approach the car.

It is now our distinct pleasure to be able to offer this magical and elegantly specified Continental GT W12 to the market. An enormously well-maintained car with a fine history and in a timeless specification and also an important page in the history of the brand as the last W12.
