BMW i8 Plug-in Hybrid xDrive – Protonic Blue / Frozen Grey – 362 HP / 570 Nm
For sale: BMW i8 Plug-in Hybrid xDrive in the highly desirable Protonic Blue / Frozen Grey combination.
The car was manufactured in July 2015, but was first registered in November 2016.
The car currently has 93,000 km and is in excellent technical and optical condition.
It has always been kept in a garage and only driven for pleasure in good, sunny weather. Since I have owned the car, it has been caught in the rain only twice, both times very close to home. The underside of the car is also in excellent condition and everything is very clean.
The VIN/chassis number is available upon request.
History / Damage
The vehicle history shows two minor damage records:
• December 2016 – Germany: damage valued between €100 and €1,000, most likely a painted/replaced rear bumper.
• April 2019: damage valued between approximately 3,000–4,000 RON, involving the front bumper, most likely repainting.
There are no major accidents recorded.
The mileage is 100% genuine.
I have the complete history of the car, including invoices, and I strongly recommend an independent inspection, including CarVertical, CEBIA and/or an inspection at an authorized BMW service.
I also have a recently obtained CEBIA history report, which I can forward by email.
Maintenance
The car has always been properly maintained and I have invested in everything that was necessary.
Oil and filter changes have been carried out every 4,000–5,000 km at most.
In addition to regular servicing, the car has received professional interior and exterior detailing, as well as ceramic coating.
The following have also been replaced/serviced:
• 12V battery
• Rear brake pads
• Gearbox oil
• Door struts/dampers
All work can be documented with invoices.
All maintenance and repairs were carried out at bForce in Bucharest, BMW specialist/service.
All of the above work was carried out last year.
Wheels & Tyres
The car comes with two complete sets of wheels – summer and winter.
Both sets have new tyres manufactured in 2025.
I waited approximately 7 months for the tyres to arrive from Bridgestone, as they are the only manufacturer offering the correct dimensions for this model with the required BMW star marking (*).
Electric Range
In full electric mode, the car has a range of approximately 23 km.
MOT / Inspection
The Romanian roadworthiness inspection (ITP) is valid until July 2027.
