Story:The BMW M6 Gran Coupé was the first four door coupé ever built by BMW M. A remarkable chapter in BMW M history and now a model you rarely come across. This example is finished in Black Sapphire metallic, complemented by High Gloss Shadow Line for an even more purposeful appearance. The iconic M Double Spoke 343 wheels look fantastic and also provide a clear view of a particularly impressive piece of engineering: the M Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

Inside, this M6 combines the sporting character of a true M car with the luxury of the 6 Series. The interior is finished entirely in Black Merino leather, featuring M multifunction seats and BMW Individual interior trim in Piano Black. The driver is surrounded by everything you expect from an M, including the M steering wheel, Head Up Display and distinctive M instruments. Luxury is equally well represented, with features including Soft Close doors, Surround View, heated front seats, Driving Assistant and the impressive Bang & Olufsen High End Surround Sound System.

Under the bonnet sits the 4.4 litre M TwinPower Turbo V8, but this is no ordinary M6. Thanks to the Competition Package, it produces 600 hp and 700 Nm of torque, allowing the Gran Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Power is sent to the rear wheels through the M dual clutch transmission. The Competition Package was about much more than additional power. BMW also revised the springs, dampers, stabilisers and M differential calibration to make the car even sharper. The result is a car that offers the comfort of a Gran Coupé on long journeys, yet transforms into a true M car at the touch of a button. With the M Driver's Package, it can even reach a top speed of 305 km/h.

It is precisely these two characters that make the M6 Gran Coupé so special. Four doors, plenty of luxury and the comfort to cover long distances, combined with 600 hp sent to the rear wheels and a V8 that leaves little to the imagination. A rare BMW M from an era when immense performance, luxury and character were still brought together in one car.
