Popis prodejce
As a European sports car, it is Porsche's 911 that holds the title for the longest continuous production run. A vehicle that is largely synonymous with the entire segment. But on the other side of the Atlantic, there is another player that is not only just as "old-in-the-game" but even older and with its roots even deeper in American motor culture. Of course, we are talking about Chevrolet's Corvette. It was already in the early 50s that Chevrolet presented its new sports car. At the time, the car represented much more than just the hardware. It quickly became a symbol of the post-war era and the strong US that had set its sights on a prosperous future. The C1 generation had a fiberglass body and was initially powered by a six-cylinder engine but quickly grew to a V8. And this recipe was adhered to all the way until 2019. It was with the C7 generation that the Corvette team realized that they could no longer get more out of a rear-wheel drive car with the engine placement that they had in front of the driver. That said that's something they came to after producing the C7 ZR1 with 755hp. The C8 generation thus became the first with a mid-engine configuration with its drivetrain behind the coupe. The consequences of this are of course a car that has more attractive driving characteristics, partly due to the engine placement and the car's weight distribution, but also due to GM's phenomenal MagRide technology, which is currently used by a number of the world's leading sports car manufacturers to offer an adaptive damper that performs regardless of the circumstances.
This example is presented in Riptide Blue Metallic and in its absolute top version with the equipment level 3LT with Z51 performance-enhancing options. They are good at a lot of things the Americans but they may not have super good names for their options... As part of the Z51 package, the car gets better aerodynamics here in a metallic black design and, among other things, better brakes that rest behind the car's black five-spoke rims. It is a particularly aggressive exterior that is clear with the car's performance and that suits the metallic blue color very well. The interior is in black with touches of red. Here, the highlight is clearly the 'GT2' bucket seats that ensure that the driver is kept in place when you start driving actively. Part of the 3LT option is here in the form of the ability to use the car's camera system to log lap times. The BOSE sound system is also part of this package.
A Swedish-sold C8 with the right specification and with only 15890 km indicated. Sold freshly serviced and ready for the summer. An extremely fun-to-drive alternative for those who want to stand out.
