The Jaguar Project 7 celebrates the brand s rich racing history and is powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 producing 575 hp. Special Vehicle Operations built only 250 units of this roadster focusing entirely on a raw driving experience. The most striking feature is the aerodynamic fairing behind the driver which refers directly to the legendary D Type from the fifties. Engineers thoroughly modified the chassis with stiffer springs and adjustable dampers to transfer the 700 Nm of torque to the tarmac in a controlled manner. Carbon ceramic brakes provide powerful deceleration. The shorter windscreen and specific aerodynamic adjustments make this one of the most extreme road cars Jaguar has ever produced.

De Jaguar Project 7 is een eerbetoon aan de rijke racehistorie van het merk en wordt aangedreven door een 5.0 liter V8 met compressor die 575 pk voortbrengt. Special Vehicle Operations bouwde slechts 250 exemplaren van deze roadster waarbij de focus volledig lag op een rauwe rijervaring. Het meest opvallende kenmerk is de aerodynamische stroomlijnkap achter de bestuurder die direct verwijst naar de legendarische D Type uit de jaren vijftig. De technici pasten het onderstel grondig aan met stijvere veren en instelbare dempers om de 700 Nm aan koppel gecontroleerd op het asfalt over te brengen. Carbon keramische remmen zorgen voor een krachtige vertraging . Het kortere windscherm en de specifieke aerodynamische aanpassingen maken dit tot een van de meest extreme straatauto's die Jaguar ooit heeft geproduceerd.

L élément le plus frappant est le carénage aérodynamique derrière le conducteur qui fait directement référence à la légendaire D Type des années cinquante. Les ingénieurs ont profondément modifié le châssis avec des ressorts plus fermes et des amortisseurs réglables pour transmettre les 700 Nm de couple au bitume de manière contrôlée. Des freins en carbone céramique assurent un freinage puissant. Le pare brise raccourci et les modifications aérodynamiques spécifiques en font l une des voitures de route les plus extrêmes jamais produites par Jaguar.
