Daytona Automobil presents a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2) with the Weissach Package, originally delivered in Germany and preserved by a dedicated Swedish enthusiast.
This example belongs to the final iteration of the naturally aspirated GT3 RS models before the OPF (Otto Particulate Filter) was mandated in European markets, making it more desirable among collectors and driving purists. The 991.2 GT3 RS was officially unveiled by Porsche in early 2018 as a significant evolution of the GT3 lineage. It features a revised 4.0-litre flat-six engine now rated at 520 PS and 470 Nm of torque, capable of revving to 9,000 rpm. Performance figures are exceptional: 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 312 km/h. Porsche Motorsport worked extensively on chassis revisions including the introduction of motorsport-grade ball joints at every suspension pivot point, improved damping, and front helper springs. Aerodynamically, it received NACA ducts on the bonnet, an enlarged rear wing, and optimized air channels derived from the GT2 RS.
Most notably, on 18 April 2018, the 991.2 GT3 RS lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6 minutes and 56.4 seconds in the hands of Kévin Estre, a feat that placed it among the fastest production cars of its time. It remains a benchmark for naturally aspirated performance engineering.
The car offered here was delivered new by Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart on July 2, 2018. It was initially registered in Germany and owned by a single private enthusiast. In April 2019, the car was imported to Sweden by an 80-year-old Porsche connoisseur in Stockholm. He has maintained the car to exacting standards and recently upgraded to a 992 GT3 RS. The ownership history is thus fully documented and limited to two private individuals, both clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the marque.
This example has seen only 21,094 km of use and has been meticulously serviced and maintained. The most recent service was conducted on 2 April 2025 at 21,035 km. The service book is complete, reflecting consistent and diligent maintenance.
The car was protected by full-body paint protection film (PPF) from the day it was delivered, a clear indication of the first owner's intent to preserve the vehicle’s exterior from stone chips and environmental wear. As part of recent preparation for sale, the original PPF was removed due to normal wear, revealing an outstanding paint finish that presents nearly as-new.
Being an early build from the 991.2 generation, this GT3 RS does not feature the GPF/OPF filters that were introduced later due to European emissions regulations. As a result, the car offers a more visceral engine note and reduced backpressure, a factor of increasing significance among collectors and enthusiasts seeking the most engaging driving experience.
Specification-wise, this GT3 RS stands out sharply even among Weissach Package cars. The Weissach Package is a factory upgrade that reduces weight through carbon fibre components on the roof, anti-roll bars, coupling rods, and front bonnet. It also replaces the standard magnesium roof with carbon fibre and shaves approximately 30 kg from the base car's weight.
The most distinguishing feature of this car is the Lizard Green roll cage – a highly unusual choice as Weissach Package cars almost universally came with a satin silver cage. This Lizard Green cage matches the exclusive Lizard Green highlights on the wheel edges and the interior trim package, resulting in a rare and highly coordinated visual theme that is both distinctive and factory-original.
